Crémant du Jura "Adrian" Brut de Brut, Eric Thill 2018, France

This is made from newcomer to the Jura landscape, Eric Thill. This spends 36 months aging sur latte and is bottled with no dosage. This is precise, clean and a natural with shellfish. No sulphur was used to make this sparkling wine.

“Methode Traditionalle” means that this wine is made with the same techniques employed in Champagne. First, a still wine is made. Then, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle - then it’s corked and closed with wire so it doesn’t fly open.

You'll find classic aromas of honey and a fair dose of minerals that make it an ideal starter wine or seafood wine. Oysters with this are amazing.

Matthiasson Rosé 2024, USA

In their own words:
The fruit is grown specifically for rosé, which means that we keep the vines a little happier and the fruit more shaded than for red wine, growing plump juicy thin-skinned grapes that are vibrant and refreshing. To capture that zesty brightness, we harvest very early, barely past veraison, similar to the level of ripeness for sparkling wine. We capture the fruit when it is still high-toned, crisp, and refreshing. We gently whole-cluster press the grapes, settle the juice in a cold tank for 24 hours, then ferment and age the wine “sur lees” in stainless steel barrels. After primary fermentation is complete, we top the stainless-steel barrels all the way and keep the barrels shut tight, no stirring or additional topping until bottling. Malolactic fermentation is prevented to preserve the natural acidity. The blend is approximately 40% Grenache, 30% Barbera, 22% Counoise, and 8% Mourvèdre. 3.35 pH, 6.8 g/l TA, 12.0% Alcohol. 1,066 cases produced.

Sancerre "La Croix au Garde", Dom. Pellé 2023, France

Since 1982, Domaine Pellé has had Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in Sancerre in the village of Montigny. The soils are composed of pebbly clay and limestone that give a mineral appeal to this delicious white wine. Aged in a combination of tank and older foudre barrels. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

Roero Arneis "Sito dei Fossili", Bric Cenciurio 2022, Italy

This Arneis comes from a prized vineyard site, Sito dei Fossili and is uncommonly complex. The wine is fermented in large, old 20 hl casks and then aged in steel tanks for 1 year. The result is that you have a bottle that will hold up in the cellar for a good decade. This is a fuller style of Arneis with racy acidity and incredible character.

Textura da Estrela Tinto, Textura 2019, Portugal

Dry and medium-bodied. Sourced from 3 blocks in Vila Nova de Tazem from vines up to 60 years old, this is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Alfrocheiro. Fermented in stainless steel with about 1/3 whole clusters, this aged for 15 months in used French oak.

Turley "Juvenile" Zinfandel 2023, USA

Truly California wine royalty, Turley Wine Cellars is known for making blockbuster Zinfandel. This estate was established by Helen Turley's brother, Larry, and features the talents of Teegan Passalasqua, also the winemaker for Sandlands, and a historian of California viticulture. The Juvenile is a blend of several vineyards that have been partially replanted with younger vines. Notes of pepper, spice, and blackberries abound. If you love California Zinfandel, you can’t go wrong with anything from Turley, Ridge (remember last year!), Ravenswood, Dry Creek, or Seghesio, to name just a handful.
